Parenting is so hard, but it’s the most important “job” we’ll ever have.

The childhood years, teenagers, the grown-up years and beyond. Then once you think you're in the clear, it’s time to help and "parent your own parents." This is why we started Parentfile...

To capture the magic during the mayhem of the childhood years, to find ways to preserve and share family treasures as your children become adults, and to find ways to more proactively help your own parents as they get older by making sure you have saved important information you’re going to need.

Whatever your stage, Parentfile makes 100s of situations so much easier and gives everyone you love peace of mind.

How It All Started

• WAKEUP CALL - 2017
Our founder's Dad hands him a piece of paper with important information “just in case something ever happens to me.”

• WE LAUNCH - 2019
After two years of developing Parentfile, we launch in beta with 3 modules for saving things - My Children, My Legacy, My Parents.

• SPOUSE SYNC - 2020
We enable shared access between spouses, something we all desperately wanted and heard repeatedly from our early users.

• IN-CASE-OF-EMERGENCY - 2021
We launch a feature that enables you to literally hand your phone to a nurse or doctor in the ER with all of the info they need, freeing you up to console your child.

• IF YOU HAVE A WILL - 2021
A lot of users share they think of their Parentfile now as “what they want to give their children someday.” A will is for things of value, a Parentfile is for all the other things you can’t put a value on, but that are often even more meaningful.

• MILESTONE SURPRISES - 2022
We launch a feature that enables you to create a surprise gift to give your child at some point in the future – when they graduate, have their first baby, turn 40 – be it a book, a trip or even just a special message recorded years and years earlier.

• PROJECT YODA - 2023
In development is a new feature that enables you to ask your parents their life story and record their answers, so you have a permanent record for generations to come of everything from their favorite books, to family memories, to even their life lessons they’ve learned along the way.
