The New & Improved Annual Holiday Card

What:

Here at Parentfile, we are developing a fun alternative to the printed out Annual Holiday Card. And pretty soon our Parentfile AI will be up and running and even create it for you automatically each year!

Why:

For some people (and a lot of us at Parentfile), getting everyone’s up-to-date mailing address, the printing costs of the physical cards, and then all the other little details make it kind of a pain each year. But not anymore!

How:

What’s great about a digital card is that you can add more than just a picture. The magic of a holiday card is when it keeps friends and family up to date on what went on over the last year with your family, not just your single best picture that makes you all look good (which is impossible anyways, one family member is always unhappy with their picture!). So here’s how to do it….

1. Pick out your single best photo from the previous year of your whole family (pick it out yourself, you’ll never get consensus on which one everyone likes the best!)
2. Come up with three fun and interesting “things” about each family member to share that occurred over the previous year
3. Go into your Parentfile, My Legacy, and look for the icon for Annual Holiday Card - you’ll find all the directions you need that makes this so simple to create and schedule to send on the date of your choice (all you’ll need are the email addresses for friends and family!)

Functionality Coming in the Future:

We are also developing technology that when you save your single best memory every month, it automatically is adding this to your Annual Holiday Card throughout the year. That way the card is developing on it’s own over the year and then when you get to the end of the year, all you need to do is edit it and send it. Turning it into literally a 5-minute thing every year and adding so much more color and meaningful information than ever possible with a printed card!

Save your Annual Holiday Card every year in your Parentfile in My Legacy, Best Memories and enjoy such a fun visual of the highlights of every year from your family!

Make it Ongoing:

Add to your calendar on December 1st, and recurring annually, to “Schedule My Parentfile Annual Holiday Card.”
