Add $1 Million to Your Legacy

What:

Here at Parentfile, we talk a lot about what you leave in a will has a dollar value, but what you put in your Parentfile is often even more meaningful, and in some cases even priceless. So figure out what has the most meaning to you, and/or to your children, and add that to your Parentfile and see how good it feels.

Why:

Because we don’t all have millions to leave our kids someday, and even if we do, that’s not what is going to mean the most to them as the years go on. In your Parentfile you can leave your true legacy…a series of videos you recorded on life lessons, a piece of art passed down in your family, the “true story” of how your family ended up in America. The possibilities are endless, but what is truly priceless that you could put in your Parentfile for them to have someday?

How:

Think of what is most meaningful to you, and/or to them, and take a few minutes right now and add it to your Parentfile! Once you decide on what this is, there are two ways you can add it to your Parentfile:

A) Create a Milestone Surprise in My Legacy, Milestone Surprises and create a date or life stage (when you turn 80, when they turn 40, when you die) that you want to give this to your child.

😎 Or, put it in Heirlooms (My Legacy, Family Treasures, Heirlooms) and leave it there for the time being.

Either way, it will feel so good to know that you have “earmarked” something that is worth more than any dollar amount ever could in your Parentfile.

Add to your calendar on January 1st, and recurring annually, to “Add New Family Heirlooms to My Parentfile.”
